Kurt is a Washington State native — he was born and raised in Olympia, and attended Western Washington University in Bellingham. He started selling real estate in 1977 in Bellingham, where he became interested in commercial and investment properties, which in turn led him to take classes and focus on income producing properties. In 1982, he and his family relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where he worked for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services in the investment division, specializing in apartment buildings. In 1990 Kurt and his wife moved back to Olympia to raise their own children closer to their extended families and live in the community they love. Kurt's wife of 40 years is an elementary teacher in the Olympia school district.
Mike was also raised in Olympia, and following in his Dad's footsteps, attended Western Washington University in Bellingham. He joined his father in the real estate business in 2001, and has successfully closed a wide range of transactions which include residential, vacant land, commercial, investment, and income producing properties. In 2009, Mike attended the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, where he obtained his MBA in 2011. After returning to Olympia and rejoining his father in the real estate business, Mike has conducted business in several Western Washington cities, helping a wide range of clients purchase and sell real estate. Mike's interests include boating, hiking, camping, and most recently, coaching one of his favorite youth sports -- Australian Rules Football.
